  1. IMHO it does not seem like the SO did a lot of stuff as far as seeking clues and such.

  2. Dean0- You hit the nail on the head. Very little on site investigation was done. The van was visually inspected, but no forensices. No fingerprints were taken from the van or the house (as far as I know). I think the deputy heard Leni say that Jack never stayed out past 2:30 and thought that she meant 2:30 in the morning, when she meant 2:30 in the afternoon. Lunch and a nap were Jack's priority, not going out partying. More on that to come.

  3. By now there ought to be some additional information. Has the Costilla County Sheriffs Dept. dropped the case?

    1. Hey Dean0- thanks for looking in. I don't know if they've dropped the case, but they sure have dropped the ball! The Sheriff has informed us that the entire investigative case regarding Jack Gordon was somehow misplaced last year and that they have "no case file", while in the same breath saying that it is an open investigation. Even if an arrest were to be made, there is no evidence that would be useful in a court of law, so the likelihood is that the perpetrator will get away with murder.
